Position Summary:
  • Responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure products comply with quality standards.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Understand and be able to apply basic inspection and testing techniques, including various types of sampling plans.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions.
  • Assist with gauge calibration responsibilities
  • Document technical issues and solutions
  • Monitor all production stages to ensure safety procedures are followed
  • Performs final inspections
  • Perform warehouse and receiving/shipping activities
  • Creation of non-conforming reports for suspect product
  • Perform internal audits when required

Essential Job Functions
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to customer specifications
  • Place completed product in shipping area by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts, pallet jacks or cranes as needed
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Traits:
  • Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
  • Team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints (drawings)
  • Electrical testing knowledge
  • Towmotor certification
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements

Education/Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years of experience
