Essential Responsibilities
- Lead Problem Solving using The Scientific Method
- Develop and document all process standards, written and visual aids for the shop floor
- Be an integral part of the Lean Journey. Learn from experienced coaches and lead Kaizen teams
- Develop processes and coach on mold press changes for all SKUs
- Develop and coach on Dryer and Kiln standards for all SKUs
- Develop and integrate process checks to ensure quality, data collection, and reporting
- Prepare and present progress/data in periodic business reviews
Qualifications/Requirements
- Associates (or beyond) degree in Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with PLC controllers
- Experience with pick and place robots
Additional Desired Characteristics
- Experience in program management
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience with basic Lean elements of kaizen approach, JIT, Problem Solving, PDCA
- Experience with ceramics, associated processes, and industries
