Job Description


OBJECTIVES 
  • Responsible of supporting PMI logistics and to meet demand  and delivery budgeted targets 
  • Responsible for dealing with customers and distributors with  issues/needs regarding delivery and stock products 
  • Priority on the Customer Service Level, Order Processing and  Customer relationship and in supporting Operations Manager  in dealing with customers and distributors with regard to delivery processes


Main Responsibilities 
  • Review orders / shipping information and delivery date input 
  • Responsible for order entry and/or maintenance for assigned accounts. 
  • Maintain relationships with freight and external logistic companies 
  • Establish relationship with customers by communicating and resolving issues. 
  • Contact customer and distributors to organize transports 
  • Organize weekly delivery of shipments optimizing carriers' routes 
  • Benchmark transportation companies fares and follow negotiations 
  • Collect transportation data and encountered issues (i.e. damages) 
  • Support sales in the invoicing processes with customers and distributors 
  • Contribute to planning/designing of all transport and logistics systems to meet long term plans, ensure continuity/efficiency
  • Support development of annual budget for logistics workstream and controlling day-to-day spend  
  • Help developing/implementing recovery plans to meet any availability, throughput, installation or salvage shortfalls
  • Review plant delivery schedules versus requested dates and resolves any conflicts. Tracks and communicates any changes and potential  service issues to the customer
  • Keep updated on regulations 
  • Performs other duties as assigned
