Field Sales Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Focus (First 8-12 Months): Prioritize enhancing existing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Business Development & Account Management: Transition into developing new business opportunities while continuing to grow and manage current client accounts.
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert industry solutions through a technical consultative approach.
- Hands-On, Self-Starter Approach: Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on attitude, capable of working independently in sales and technical challenges.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop extensive sales forecasts and market analysis to help drive business strategies in the US
- Travel and Presence: Up to 40% travel, including overnight stays, to visit clients and monthly visits to the U.S. headquarters in North Carolina.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other equivalent.
- Technical Background: Strong foundation in field sales with a proven ability to coach Industrial/MFG clients on line and assembly improvementsÂ
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the air compressor valve sector or related fields is highly preferred.
- Autonomy: Intrinsic motivation for growth, readiness to embrace challenges, and ability to work independently.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with diverse teams and regular interaction with our client's headquarters in Italy.
- Cultural Fit: Experience in small to mid-sized corporate environments, aligning with our client's organizational culture and dynamics.
