A global leader in the maritime and defense industry is seeking a highly organized and polished Executive Assistant to support the President at its Washington, D.C. headquarters. This organization operates internationally with thousands of employees across multiple continents and plays a critical role in supporting national defense, commercial shipbuilding, and complex maritime operations.

Position Summary
The Executive Assistant serves as the primary administrative partner to the President, managing complex scheduling, communications, travel coordination, and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism. This individual will act as a trusted gatekeeper and liaison between executive leadership, board members, government partners, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities shift and executive presence matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize the President’s complex calendar, ensuring seamless coordination of meetings and commitments
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and logistics
- Prepare and edit executive correspondence, reports, and presentation materials
- Serve as a professional point of contact for senior leaders, board members, and external partners
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively support strategic initiatives
- Support coordination of high-level meetings and events

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting senior executives (C-suite experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and integrity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
