ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our Client is a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of of premium branded photography, audio and video equipment for both professional and hobbyist photographers, video-makers and content creators. They pride themselves in being a leader in the content creation accessories market.

POSITION MISSION

Support the Finance Director and the commercial/sales team with ad/hoc analysis relating to the commercial piece of the business such as control for customer terms and marketing expenditure, promotions/discounts evaluation, sales analysis, pricing set up, weekly and monthly forecasting and assistance with the preparation of financial statements for the Company. Analysis is aimed to identify the organization’s spending patterns and recommend strategies to enhance company profit.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise pricing and value chain model of the Company, ensuring that the policy of commercial procedure for prices, promotions and discounts is respected.
  • Supervise customer commercial agreements and claims, ensuring that they are properly accounted for. This includes monitoring and reporting the commercial investments by accounts and type, on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor product prices and their profitability as well as the promotion implementations. to ensure a proper database of pricing spending by item and account
  • Improve margin reports analysis by customer and product with an adequate qualitative analysis of performance variances.
  • Help prepare the weekly intakes and sales flash for the preparation of the weekly report, supporting the Finance & Commercial directors.
  • Support the preparation of the monthly closing and reporting to division and internally with focus on revenues. Provide explanation of all variances by account and product.
  • Help prepare the annual budget for approval by Management. Monitor the budget by working closely with department heads in meeting their budgetary restrictions.
  • Help prepare quarterly forecast and YTD projections as required for corporate consolidation.
  • Receive and resolve inquiries from all Managers regarding monthly sales results and performances.
  • Provide internal reports and updates reports to be more useful and efficient, provide external reports as necessary.
  • In collaboration with the rest of the department, ensure the proper effectiveness of the internal control system accordingly with the Group processes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economy, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of direct experience in a finance role with focus on sales/commercial analysis
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems, ERP and Business Intelligence software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Well-developed financial analysis capabilities
